Frogs are important to our ecosystems. They eat algae and insects. They do us a service by helping to clear waterways and removing disease spreaders.

Frogs populate the streams near Millard Canyon in the Altadena Foothills.

Frogs rely on streams to raise their young. When the streams run dry, they die.

The Lincoln Water Company has control over the water flow through Millard Canyon. When they stop the water, an entire generation of frogs can die.
